Communication & Media Studies

The Media and Communication Studies in majority combine a rich grounding in media and communication theory and history with the knowledge of social and cultural dimensions of the media. Particular attention is paid to the social and cultural consequences of the new technologies of communication and information. Students are introduced to core concepts in the academic study of media and communication practice, as well as to flexible and transferable skills that will prepare graduates for informed engagement with global media culture across a range of careers.
